The Hanoi Legacy Hotel in Hang Bac is a delightful boutique hotel in the centre of Hanoi madness in the Old Quarter. I have purchased this hotel as part of an Australian-based ‘ourdeal.com.au’ voucher.

The manager, Mr. Nguyen is a delightfully friendly host who individually greets eats guest and welcomes them to his hotel.

I am upgraded to a family room and although there is no window, it is spacious and thankfully at the back of the hotel away from any street noise. With a choice of a single or double bed, I quickly fall asleep whilst watching a movie on one of the cables stations on a large 42″ screen.

The next morning after a couple of laps around the nearby lake, I tuck into a hearty breakfast including hot and cold Vietnamese and Western delights, and order a Pho (tip – not offered as part of the buffet but if you request one it is no problem).

This hotel is highly recommend for its location, friendly service, and great value!
