First in the boarding queue so first on the plane 🙂 But there is no flight attendant so I wait for a few seconds and am then greeted by a warm (and surprised) ‘Good morning!’ by a lovely perky FA who didn’t realize the boarding call had been made.

I am allocated seat 3C – my favorite for short haul which is an aisle bulkhead directly behind Business with additional leg room.

Tea/coffee and water is served. I decline having had a large meal in The
Lounge.

The flight itself is stock-standard Virgin – friendly, efficient, and quick – we are on the Gold Coast in no time.
