My partner has booked this resort using Hilton Grand Vacations Club points, costing somewhere in the vicinity of USD250 for 3 nights.
To be honest it’s a pretty crappy resort. The dark, dated ground-floor room we are given is interconnecting, and has a bathtub/shower that leaks water on the bathroom floor, and has large clunky metal fixtures. The kitchenette has a microwave and a huge filter coffee machine. There is a large TV and a verandah with a pleasant outlook.

The restaurant’s food is pretty bad – the addition of salt in everything is unbelievable. And it’s insanely expensive for what you get. I think I am too used to living in Asia.
The pool is ok, as is the gym which I use each morning. There is also a communal self-service laundry room with industrial-strength machines.
As HGVC owners, my partner and I are gifted 70K Hhonors points for listening to a 30 min ‘member’s update’ presentation. Those 30 mins turn into just over 4 hours as we decide to upgrade our membership to the new ‘HGV Max’ – giving us access to hundreds of new resorts globally.
