I was hoping to visit the prestigious Delta One lounge but it doesn’t open until 8am so I enter this lounge a floor below. It is a bright, airy lounge with an adequate breakfast buffet spread.

The first thing I do is book a shower spot and I’m next in line so whilst I’m waiting, I make my way to the buffet.

I’m not really hungry but I can’t resist so grab a few things. It’s all very good especially the chicken apple sausage.

Shower time – it’s a huge suite with Alchemy products and even facial wash and moisturizer, deodorant, and a bathrobe. After an 11-hour flight, baggage recheck, and TSA, it’s a welcome relief.

I spend about 2 hours here before making my way to the gate for my next (and final flight today) to Orlando.
