I am sitting in seat 1A in ‘ScootPlus’ on this Scoot Airlines Boeing 787 flight bound for Tokyo from Taipei.

I am the first to board and there is a sealed cup of water waiting for me 🤣. A flight attendant quickly introduces herself to me, confirms my meal order, and asks which drink from the menu Id like. She also hands me a free 200MB pass card (which I am using now).

‘ScootPlus’ is the ‘Business Class’ offering of this Low Cost Carrier – more like Premium Economy thanks to the 2-3-2 seat configuration, a free meal, and WiFi. It’s comfortable for a 2.5 hour flight.

I have pre-ordered chicken curry which comes with cake, biscuits, and a drink – all very tasty.

For most of the flight I watch a movie I have downloaded on my iPad and try to shut most eyes for a while.

As a Kris Flyer member, I get a 20% discount voucher to use on all Scoot flights once per year so this flight is a pretty good deal.

We land on time.
