Flight Review: TG637 – TPE – BKK

I am sitting in aisle seat 41D, on this Thai Airways Airbus A320-200 flight from Taipei to Bangkok.

The first thing I notice is that there is no AV screen, instead they offer a streaming service to your Smart device. I always carry my iPad with me when I travel so no issue here.

The breakfast service starts and I am served first as I have pre-ordered a Kosher meal. Big mistake. It is not very good. No fresh fruit of pastries / just cracker and a soggy quiche, and an apple compote I’m sure I had with my last Kosher inflight meal a year ago.

As for the inflight entertainment, I’d give it a 4/10 – all old stuff from decades ago. Although I manage to find a Kelly Clarkson program featuring the Jonas Bros which occupies some of the 4-hours. The rest of the time I try to sleep.

Despite a delayed departure, we manage to land pretty much on time.

Rating: 5/10.
