I am sitting in Bulkhead seat 39J, an aisle seat at the front of economy in a secluded small cabin just behind Business class and in front of the rest of Economy on this Airbus A330-300 Cathay Pacific Airlines flight from Hong Kong to Taipei.

The plane, although my seat is in a premium spot within the cabin, is very old, and I can see the business class seats in front of me are very old school. My seat has its own individual AV screen on the wall in front of me (as is the design of bulkhead AV screens.

Shortly after take-off a meal is served – there is no choice – it’s just fish and rice. The fish is good but the rice is not. It comes with a bottle of water.

I don’t watch anything on this flight, instead read n novel on my iPad and sleep for about 30 minutes.

We land pretty much on time.
