Today I’m flying business class on EVA air using SQ Krisflyer points in seat 7a (the second row) on this Airbus A330-300 flight bound for Haneda, Japan from Songshan Airport in Taipei.

The livery is decked out with ‘Bad Badtz Maru’ animation both inside and out which might seem a bit childish at first but then again, this is a flight to Japan 🤪.

The seats are a 2-2-2 configuration which is also unusual for business class but they are modern and fully flat extending into a comfortable bed position. All the usual functionality is there and noise-cancellation earphones and slippers.

The standout of this flight though is the meal – a superb Japanese ‘Kaiseki’ meal pre-ordered online.

Other than that on this short 2.5 hour flight I watch the new Whitney Houston movie which is excellent, and that’s about it.

One thing of note – the service is unusually excellent; our Japanese flight attendant is amazing 🤩.
