I found this beautiful little boutique hotel on klook.com which offered rooms overlooking the lake, a hot spring bath in the room, hot spring entry, and dinner and breakfast for around TWD 3000 (SGD150) for 2.

The hotel is located about a 45 min ride from Taipei’s Xindian Station by bus, and right at the foot of bustling Wulai Old Street.

Our room is beautiful! A canopy-style king-sized bed, table and chairs, flat-screen TV, mini bar-fridge, and a bathroom with stone hot tub overlooking the river below.

The meals are great and plentiful as well. There is a large choice of mains for dinner, and either Western or Chinese breakfast.

The hotel also has a public hot spring pool area, seperated for males and females which can be used twice during a one night stay per guest.

Really enjoyed this mini staycation and will be back.
