I think this is the only lounge serving multiple airlines at Male International.

It is also my second time here (I can enter thanks to my partner’s SQ Gold membership, and once I enter I remember – a huge sprawling lounge, very dark, with zero atmosphere except the relaxed faces of post-Maldives holidaymakers. And a number of screeching kids.

The WiFi is strong and the buffet offerings reasonable. Unfortunately my choice of chocolate mousse cake with Moccacino isn’t the best…. the cake part is a bit stale.

There is really nothing much else to remark upon except it is a respite from the duty free shops and fast food joints outside.

It is only a short stay as the boarding call for our flight is announced.
