I am sitting in Emergency Exit seat 14D, an aisle seat, on this Boeing 737-800 Myanmar National Airlines flight bound for Bangkok.

There is plenty of legroom here which makes for a comfortable flight.

As there is no individual AV screen available, I continue watching an episode of ‘Salvation’ season two on my iPad.

Dinner is a chicken croissant with salad and roll cream cake. And a coffee. It is quite tasty and fresh.

It’s a short flight and we land on time. Service is good all round.

But what a scary BANG as we land. Jesus I thought my time had come…..
