Flight Review: BR0871 – TPE – HKG (Business Class)

I am originally sitting in seat 7G, an aisle seat on this Eva Air Airbus A330-200 aircraft bound for a quick transit in Hong Kong, before heading home to Bangkok.

As soon as I sit down, Eunice, a friendly flight attendant welcomes me on board and offers me a pre-takeoff beverage. I choose the Champagne Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2007.

The menus are then passed around and for me it is the beef bourguignon with Pan fried cheese polenta cake. For my beverage, although they have a selection of cocktails, I decided on a glass of French red. Both are delicious.

Before we take off as the front doors close, I notice the first 2 seats at the front are empty so ask if I can move. Lucky – I now have a window seat.

Being such a short flight of around 1.5 hours, I decide to skip the AV and instead carry on watching the drama on my iPad. With the seat reclined to an almost flat position, it’s smooth flying all the way.

A great flight with excellent service considering the short amount of time I am in the air.
