Seeing the plane turn into the gate seems like I am on a winner, but sadly this is not the case.

I am sitting somewhat squashed in forward row seat 3A on this AirAsia Airbus A320-200 flight back for a short transit in Bangkok before re-boarding another AirAsia flight to Yangon.

I am sitting next to an irritable young child who manages to skillfully and consistently move into my space. Enough is enough and I tell his father to stop his child annoying me and move across to the other seat. He does.

The rest of the flight is an uneventful 4.5 hours of no food or entertainment.

Just utter boredom and squashy irritation.
