I am sitting in seat 35F, an aisle seat on this Thai Airways Airbus A350-900 aircraft bound for Bangkok. It is an exceptionally clean and modern plane, possibly it has only recently come into service.
The seat is comfortable, and has a large AV screen and footrest. And there is no one next to me although the flight seems quite full. I finish watching, ‘Finding Your Feet’ which I had started on the flight over. Great movie – highly recommended! Once finished I watch an episode of ‘This is Us’.
I have ordered a Hindu Vegetarian meal. This is my FIRST TIME to order a vegetarian meal. It is delicious – two types of curry (cottage cheese and spinach, and a vegetarian-type ‘butter chicken’) and comes with a chickpea and corn salad, flatbread and creamy rice dessert. I think I will continue to order this meal in the future.
The flight overall is very good. We are told that we need to take a bus from the domestic airport to the international airport. This puts a dent in the overall experience but I know it’s not the airlines’ fault.
Rating: 8/10
Parking planes at remote stands and bussing passengers to the terminal is an all too common Thai Airways experience. But the catering more than makes up for it! Nice site btw
