I am again sitting in an Emergency Exit row, this time 42C, an aisle seat, on the empty Thai Smile Airways A320-200 aircraft returning to Bangkok.

Shortly after take-off the meal service comes around – cold cuts and potato salad with a very tasty creamy dessert cake. A cup of coffee finishes it off.

On this very short 1 hour 10 min flight entertainment is ‘Just For Gags’ shown through the small TVs that come down from the ceiling.

The flight attendants are very friendly and the cabin is spotlessly clean.
