I am sitting in seat 32A, a window seat second row behind the front of economy on this Airbus A330-300 Thai Airways aircraft bound for Yangon.

I am happy to see there are AV screens even for this short flight of less than one hour.

I have pre-ordered a Kosher meal knowing they are generally much larger than the standard meals on this short route. Sure enough before take off, a flight attendant comes around with my boxed meal and asks if I would like to break the seal. I decline with a smile and say that he can do it before he serves it post take-off.

It turns out it is just 2 small meat/chicken pies. And a water. I ask for a green tea. Whilst I am eating I watch an episode of Modern Family season 8.

The highlight of the journey is the stunning cloud formations from the window.
