Flight review: JL258 – HIR – HND

I am seated in an aisle seat in row 15 – the first row behind the ‘business class seats’ (at a mere YEN 1000 upgrade) on this Boeing 737-800 bound for Haneda. It’s amazing value considering the seat are more spacious, but the catch is, like Economy, no food is served. I specifically requested my seat as there is about 1.5 meters between my seat and the one in front.

Just prior to take-off I receive a blanket from an attendant and at 1pm sharp, the doors shut to time as we pull back for take-off. Like clockwork!!!
The flight is only 1.05 hours so by the time coffee is served and my 30 mins of free wifi is up, it’s time to land.
