At check-in ask the counter staff with a smile if I can seat in the first row (and show my QFF Platinum card). She smiles and tells me there is a seat available – 1C at the front of the cabin with no seats in front of me. Very lucky as this seat normally would cost an additional $30 if purchased pre-flight online!

The 3-hour flight itself is trouble-free and takes-off and lands on time. Being Jetstar, a LCC – nothing is included and there is no onboard entertainment but that is fine as I have my trusty iPad with me and can stretch out my legs to full capacity.  I land relatively refreshed.
