My partner who is a Le Club Accor Platinum member has booked a Beach Villa at this hotel with the understanding that an upgrade to a Pool Villa should be applicable upon check-in.

And indeed we do get the upgrade to a spacious villa with king canopy bed, plunge pool, outdoor enclosed dining/living area, and outdoor shower and jacuzzi. Very nice indeed.

The facilities, pool, beach, and service are all very good. We are happy to notice a fruit platter and pastries in our fridge to welcome us as Le Club Accor members.

We also receive a drinks voucher to choose from a selected list at any of the F&B outlets (which is applicable for Silver, Gold, and Platinum members). We choose the bar on the beach and enjoy a Strawberry Mohito and a Mai Tai.

We decide to eat at a local restaurant near the hotel for dinner, but choose room service for breakfast – an Indonesian breakfast, comprising of a chicken congee and danish pastries with fruit platter and juice.

The only surprise is that as Platinum Le Accor member, breakfast is not included. We are Hilton Hhonors Diamond members, but even Gold members receive complimentary breakfast. I believe at a Sofitel and Pullman (other Accor brands) breakfast is included.

All in all a pleasant stay.
