I have 30 minutes to kill so decide to check the lounge out, having access due to my Business class ticket back to Singapore.

  
It’s a very simple lounge with reasonable wifi, endless announcements from outside, yet excellent food to compensate (not surprising, it is Taiwan after all – food capital of Asia?).

I am really not that hungry and know I am going to have a huge meal on board but am tempted by the fried chicken, and other tasty-looking assortments of Taiwanese delicacies so ‘give in’ to my stomach and make a sampler-plate.

   
Delicious – I mean really good chicken. I am tempted for seconds but decline.

I don’t last long in the lounge and make my way to the boarding gate.
