I book this motel-type accommodation as it is very reasonable price-wise and close to the wineries.

We are a group of 8 from Sydney and it is easy to find on Wine Country Drive. Arriving early at 12pm, we are advised check-in is from 2pm so we head off to the wineries and return in the early evening to get our keys.

My room is a Queen with additional lounge area. Simple, clean, comfy bed. Walls are a little too thin and the next door TV keeps me up throughout the night.

The pool which some of the group uses is adequate – the spa unfortunately is OOO.

Breakfast the next day is continental, the usual array of cereals, muffins, filter coffee etc.

An easy stay to explore the Hunter region.
