Hotel Review: Hilton Prague

From check-in to check-out the service here is outstanding. Special shout out to Cyril who is helping out in the Executive Lounge as Sommelier (his normal role is in one of the restaurants) – what a great guy. But honestly everywhere from the front desk to the restaurant, and even housekeeping – a very service-orientated staff.

Although the hotel looks modern and glassy from the exterior, as well as the bright atrium inside, the guest room corridors and actual room is slightly outdated. Our room is a small upgrade to the King Hilton Plus room, which has a nice view of the river. We are told at check-in due to the high occupancy (there is a conference) we can not get an upgrade to a Suite. Not a problem, we are in Prague and are not spending that much time in the room.

Breakfast at the restaurant is great – lots of selections from the breakfast buffet including liverwurst paste which I have been dying for; and a recipe card for the Nutella muffins which must be a speciality in Europe as we saw them in Frankfurt as well. Again, the service is warm with smiles.

The gym is run by Living Well and is huge. The pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna are a welcome relief after walking around Prague all day.

Our next stop is the other Hilton in Prague Old Town, so looking forward to what it has to offer.
