This is my 3rd stay at this busy hotel in the suburbs of KL. Although an old hotel in terms of the building’s age, it seems the interior has been updated since my last stay a few months ago.

Check-in is smooth and upon receiving my key to my upgraded King Executive Suite on the 20th of 21 floors, I see another fruit platter, plate of chocolates, and personalised welcome letter from the hotel manager.

The 2 room suite is large, with all the amenities one would expect – lounge, dining table, oversized bathroom, and deliciously large comfy bed.

I meet a friend in the lobby and we enjoy a couple of hours of complimentary drinks and canapés (essentially a full dinner of exotic delicacies) in the Executive Lounge.

I sleep for a good, much needed, 9 hours blissfully, and the next morning wake up refreshed and head to the gym and outdoor pool for a quick pre-breakfast workout.

I choose my complimentary breakfast in the large restaurant adjacent to the lobby and enjoy a number of Malaysian, Indian, and Western delights.

Before check-out I revisit the lounge for a latte and spend some time emailing and checkin-in for my flight online.
