Unfortunately not offered the same ‘2-4-1’ deal to upgrade to Club World on this flight so have to ‘slum it’ in our original booking class, ‘World Traveller Plus’ aka Premium Economy.
As we opted for a flight 1.5 hours earlier than the one we originally booked, partner and I cannot sit together so have to wait until we are onboard and get an attendant to ask the person sitting next to either of us to move to accommodate us together.
Which he does, and is then given a complimentary upgrade to Club World! Bloody hell!! And we were willing to pay!
The flight itself it long, but I manage to sleep about 8 hours and catch 2 movies.
Dinner is Sate Chicken. Breakfast a Spanish omelette. Both are OK but nothing to rave about. The airline’s website states Business Class main meals for World Traveller Plus but as I make my way to the toilet after dinner I am sure Economy passengers are eating the same food…

Economy is economy. Most airlines serve the same food in premium economy, at least Air France is that way. Sorry no upgrade.
