We are flying on an Airbus A320 in seats 10B (partner) and 10C (me) in a 3×3 configuration. The seats, in an emergency exit row, are old school and do not recline, yet nonetheless comfortable enough for this short trip to Lisbon.

A quick tray meal of a ham and cheese croissant, juice, and coffee is served onboard this 2 hour flight.

No entertainment so luckily we being newspapers and magazines with us from the BA Lounge.

The flight attendants are friendly enough. It is early morning so they aren’t 100% warmed up for the day as yet. Or perhaps this is just their usual demeanor.

I try to sleep for the duration of the flight; it ends up being a 30 min ‘power nap’ and wake up with a sore neck.
