I am sitting on an aisle seat in row 35 (G) which is a bulkhead on this A330 aircraft.

It is Cathay’s regional airline, and although 3-class, economy does not have individual screens, and, we are told by the chief Purser, audio is regrettably unavailable on this flight.

Still, menus are handed out and today’s light dinner consists of smoked duck breast with green salad as a starter, sautéed mixed seafood with wild mushrooms and spring onions or chicken ragout with tomato-lemon sauce Penne pasta to choose as main,and Haagan Dazs ice cream to finish.

Service is exceptional.

The cabin is a little cold for the nearly 4 hour flight.
