Although an Air Calin flight ticket was booked (Industry rate – $450 all inclusive return), I am happily surprised to be on a flight operated by Qantas!

All the usual Qantas trimmings are included and my seat has a personal video screen which I take advantage of and watch the news and a movie titled, ‘The Performance’ about the struggles of a string quartet group.

The breakfast meal service is quick and efficient, and only the hot choice is left (I am towards the back of the cabin) but it is delicious – sausage, hashed potato, frittata, tomato, yogurt, juice, and I opt for a small bottle of sparkling (I’m on holiday).
