Fog at Sydney airport this morning creates havoc for countless passengers who have to face delays, anger, and crowds in the Virgin Lounge.

But not me…

My 9am departure for BNE is delayed until 11.45am and I ask if there are any earlier flights or a possibility of a route
change to OOL (so I can get a car and drive to BNE to make my appointment on time.

With a smile George at ‘The Lounge’ check-in offers me the last economy seat on VA509 SYD-OOL which I thankfully accept, and then, as an added bonus for being so nice in a sea of ‘passenger anger’ he has received all
morning, upgrades me to Business!!!

There is a light at the end of every dark tunnel.
