I don’t normally do boats on my blog but as I stayed overnight…..I spent 1 night, 2 days on this lovely boutique ‘junk’ cruise on Ha Long Bay. Upgraded to a delightful deluxe suite cabin, I was blown away by the simplicity of this comfortable boat with all amenities required – ensuite bathroom with hot water shower, TV, air conditioning, double bed, and plentiful cupboards to store my overnight bag.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the serene Ha Long Bay backdrop made it a wonderful experience.

Some of the highlights included copious amounts of fresh seafood for lunch and dinner, a ‘spring roll’ cooking class, caving, kayaking, swimming, squid fishing, and excellent commentary about the area.
