On time departure, friendly service, special meal, AV entertainment sums up my flight.
Strangely I was offered an 8000 point upgrade on check-in at the ‘Q’ machines but declined as it was a short haul flight to OOL of about an hour and 5 mins. Strange I say as ‘red-e’ deals don’t usually allow for upgrades on this fare type. And I am forever told at check-in that I need to notify Qantas at least 24 hours prior to the flight.
Nonetheless I am in an emergency exit aisle row and content with my special low-fat, carb, sugar meal of a whole meal beef sandwich whilst everyone else gets a packet of dried fruit 🙂
