Qantas Business Class lounge – Hong Kong International Airport

Arriving at roughly 8pm for an 11.30pm flight, I had no idea what I was going to do, but upon entering the lounge, I quickly felt at ease by the selection of food, drinks, seats, and overall space. After a quick shower (with no amenities), I grabbed some snacks and newspapers, and made my way to a comfortable sofa-seat for a 2 hour wait before boarding.

According to the Qantas website, this lounge offers the following, which is basically true – except for the customer service from the ladies at the entry desk that were quite cold.

A variety of seating zones to allow you to select a space that suits your mood and needs.
New luxury bathrooms facilities.
11 private shower suites with a paging system to let you know when they are available.
Improved business facilities which include 14 private workstations. Each location will be equipped with a PC, with complimentary wireless access.
Power and data points are located throughout the lounge to allow you to plug in your laptops or recharge mobile phones.
Enhanced entertainment zones with an increase in plasma TVs. Additional FIDs screens are incorporated.
A selection of magazines and newspapers.
New buffet and menu offering complimentary snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
A new cocktail bar where you can socialise.
