This hotel is in a stunning location and is a beautiful, new addition to the already over-crowded, over-supply of hotels on the Gold Coast.

Being a Diamond Hhonors member, we are upgraded to a stunning 2-bedroom Ocean view room on the 39th floor. The room is immaculate, fresh, modern, and extremely spacious, with on-suite second bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and massive balcony with phenomenal views.

We receive free Internet (a little slow) as well as free lounge access and breakfast. The lounge is unfortunately not looked after well by attendants – it is quite messy in that the food is not refilled, spills not cleaned in a timely manner nor labelled correctly. For example the beef curry is labelled chicken curry etc.

Breakfast at Luke Mangen’s Salt Grill is plentiful, fresh, and quick. We also receive it free as Diamond Hhonors members. A fair selection of hot and cold delights with the best chocolate croissants I have ever had.

All in all, a very pleasant stay.

And the lifts….there are four of them but oh so slow. And there is no service lift so they are shared with guests and housekeeping trolleys alike.

The pools (4 of them are lovely), the sauna is hot, but the gym is tiny.
