I’m am sitting in Business Class seat 8D, in the second cabin Business Class cabin on this EVA Airways Boeing 777-300ER flight bound for Taipei from Bangkok. The cabin is freezing for most of the flight and I get a second blanket to act as a scarf.

My pre-boarding drink is a flute of non-alcoholic sparkling, which comes with a cold wet towel.

Shortly after take-off the dinner menu begins with a mocktail and nuts, followed by a starter of duck meat and a main of Seabass in Cumin curry. Dessert is a fruit plate and some kind of Taiwanese dessert. Sadly, I’m just not hungry after a week of eating on holiday.

I watch a movie – forget the name, and then sleep for about 90 minutes in a fully-flat bed position.

We land on time.

Rating: 8/10 (it’s just way too cold in the cabin).
