This is truly an oasis.

Although I am traveling on an expired (July 2013) Velocity Platinum card (new one has been sent to my address) and flying with Singapore Air, I am still warmly welcomed into this lounge.

The interior decoration is pleasant – soft tones in brown and grey, low lit lighting, and classical music help to make it a welcoming experience.

I decided to go light with the buffet, and opt for singapore noodles, an egg and lettuce sandwich, and Ha Gau, complemented by a machine-brewed latte.

The computer terminals are empty, plenty of seats are available, with most guests eyes-wide-shut at this early time of the day.
