Hostel Review: Onboard Hostel – Manzhou, Taiwan

This is my second hostel stay in as many days but this one is in a double private room. With shared bathroom.

Dining room and kitchen (and Max)

I find this hostel on booking.com and knowing it is a long weekend in Taiwan book it immediately. And glad I did. A 3 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to shops and restaurants, and 0 minutes to peace and quietness πŸ™Œ.

My room is the only private room in the hostel and has a huge, comfy king-sized bed, with mini fridge, hairdryer, toothbrushes, aircon, air cleaner machine thingy, cable TV, and even a couple of chairs to sit and read on.

Surf themed private room
Ample seating in the room too!

The best part about it it’s the wonderful host, Max, who speaks great English and cooks an awesome breakfast each day.

Great breakfasts each day

A car or scooter is recommended in order to get to Kenting town about 10 KMs away, for night entertainment and additional activities.

If I come to this part of Taiwan again, I’ll probably stay here again.
