I am sitting in window seat 59K, on this Singapore Airlines Boeing B787-10 dreamliner bound for Bangkok.

It is a very clean, modern aircraft, and although I have a well-behaved child sitting next to me, I am relatively content 🙄.

The seat is decked out well with a large AV screen, mini storage compartments, USB charger, and the design is actually quite ergonomic and comfortable.

Prior to take-off a wet towel service comes around, and pre-ordered meals are confirmed (in my case a seafood meal).

It comes out first, and it is quite good – a hot penne pasta dish with prawns, scallops, and vegetables, a cold prawn and pasta salad, wholemeal roll, and a delicious lemon cheesecake dessert. Then I order a Singapore Sling.

The flight is under two hours so decide to watch the 2019 Glastonbury music festival in lieu of a movie.

We land on time.
