As a Velocity Rewards Gold member, I manage to find a loophole allowing me to enter this lounge after I used someone else’s SQ points to book a reward ticket in Y-class on Silk Air.

The lounge itself is cosy, with relatively strong wifi and a fair selection of hot and cold food. There is also a Barista to press the button on the coffee machine for you so I enjoy a quick cappuccino and a chocolate brownie.

After checking a few emails and rearranging my carry-on, I make my way to the boarding gate.
