I am originally booked on a 4pm flight but 30 mins prior to the 3pm flight taking-off I rush to the check-in counter and request this earlier flight. After a couple of calls to the ground crew stating my ‘Platinum’ status, my new boarding pass is printed out and handed over with a warm smile. Wow – I love Virgin Airlines!!!

Oh – and of course personal video screens (Ellen, Glee, CNN) and complimentary tea.
