The flight from Sydney to the Gold Coast takes just a little over an hour. Quite a plesant flight as each seat comes with it’s own individual personal screen, so I spend the time flicking between CNN and BBC World News. As I don’t have a ‘flexi’ fare, I am not offered complimentary food, but tea/coffee, and water is free. By the time we are in the air, it is nearly time to prepare for landing so it is no big deal. Besides, I ate in The Lounge prior to take off. Actually, I am lucky to be on this flight as I was originally on one an hour later, but being a Platinum member, changing to an earlier flight is never a problem and is free!
