My first seaplane flight was a blast! Twin prop 1-2 seating configuration. We were presented with a Bulgari branded and scented face cloth, a pair of earplugs (thank god – boy was it noisy in the cabin) and a bottle of water. I had a window seat and the view was exceptional. Was slightly concerned by the Pilot’s lack of shoes, but it was nonetheless a great introduction to the Maldivian way of life. After a short 30 min flight, we arrived at the island with a jaw-dropping wide grin – we had finally reached paradise!
