I am sitting in window seat 23A on this EVA Airlines Boeing B787-10 flight from Taipei to Brisbane. The seat, despite being in the Economy cabin, has a generous pitch, recline, and large TV screen with a large choice of entertainment options.

Two meal services are served during the 7.5 hour flight. My first choice is ‘fried meatballs’ and the second a pasta. Both are tasty and generous.

I watch a couple of movies – one is Nuremberg, with Russell Crowe – excellent, and the other not memorable.

I am able to sleep for a couple of hours during the flight even though it is a day flight.

We land on time.
