I have stayed here before – about 3 years ago, and since then it has been upgraded – a full room refurbishment. Happily surprised and my twin room for about USD87 is a bargain. Location-wise this hotel is directly above Itaewon subway station, and in front of the dazzling nightlife.

My room has all the amenities required including charging station with cords! And the bathroom has a bath! My first bath in 3 weeks (I have had daily showers though).

The hotel has a Korean-style sauna/bath in the basement which costs W5000 for guests (a W10000 discount). It is one of the best things you can do after a 15 hour flight. It’s a welcome relief.

I can’t think of a better hotel in this area for the price and when I return to Seoul, this will be the place I stay at.
