More of a hostel than a hotel, I book this accommodation on booking.com as it is very close to the train station and cheap.

My room is on the 2nd floor, with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. No TV and amenities are super basic. But the bed is comfortable and warm.

As we are leaving early for Machu Picchu a simple boxed breakfast is provided. The breakfast in day two in the lobby cafe is equally as simple.

Service is sweet, the staff do their best to please.

At USD45 for 2 nights it is a bargain.
