I didn’t realise there is a lounge at this small airport but there is! Apparently the airport at Santa Cruz is the world’s first ecologically-friendly airport.

This lounge is run by Priority Pass so I can even enter with one guest, which I do.

It looks a bit like an aircraft hanger – open, bright, very high ceilings, and wind blowing through it.

The food is OK – some pasta and rice – it’s not bad – I’m hungry and it hits the spot.

We are only here for a few minutes and a light bite before we board.
