My travel agent has booked this hotel as part of a very bad ‘3’-day 2-night package to this island in the west of the Galapagos.
The hotel itself is low-mid range, a tiny pool, and a reception that is often unmaned. Although reasonably central and close to the port and town centre, it lacks in a few things. For example when I go to take my shower around 9pm, I realise there are no towels in the room, so go to reception but no one is there.

My room is quite big with a king-sized bed, bathroom with no bath, and a balcony. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but there is a TV which I never switch on.
Breakfast is included in the package – a very basic continental buffet and a made-to-order hot dish (eggs). As we leave at a ridiculous time the next morning (5am), a breakfast of crackers, a juice, and an apple are left at reception for us to pick up. I am actually 9 mins late to the pick up time and the transfer driver leaves without me so I have to walk 1 km to the boat port with my bags.
Definitely a case of ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’ but in reverse…. Looks good, but it ain’t.
