I am sitting again in seat 1A on this Avianca Airlines A320 flight from Guayaquil to San Cristobal (Galapagos). Apparently the aircraft is refuelling and we have to switch off our electronic devices before boarding the plane. I only have an electric boarding pass (no a paper one). This proves interesting….

Short after take-off business class passengers are offered a bottle of water and a choice of 1 of 3 flavours of crisps. I choose Sweet Potato.

And that’s it. The seat is the same. The service is the same. Just no meal on this 1.5 hour flight. Quite bizarre really for Business class.
