I am sitting in Business Class seat 2K on this Asiana Airlines A350-900 flight from Incheon to New York.

The seat is the same ‘Smartium’ on my previous A380 flight to Seoul. Quite comfortable but lacks sufficient storage space.

Upon sitting down the flight attendant comes to introduce herself and asks what meal I would like for lunch. There is no hot towel or nuts/drink service prior to takeoff.

About an hour into the flight the lunch service begins and I choose the signature Korean beef ribs meal – it’s quite nice and served with lettuce which you wrap your beef ribs with. I also ask for the cheese plate and Western dessert.

I watch 3 Korean movies on this flight and sleep in a fully-flat bed position probably for a total of 6 out of the 13 hour flight.

During the flight I also order a beef and cheese croissant, and my breakfast 2-hours before landing is a Mozzarella cheese omelette. It’s delicious. It is also served with warm pastries, fruit,  and for me a double espresso.

We land about 30 mins before scheduled arrival time.
