I am sitting in seat 25A, a window seat, on this Qantas A330-200 flight bound for Singapore from Sydney.

Compared to the flight from Haneda to Sydney, the seats are narrower and the AV screen half the size. This is an old aircraft. A few times my AV screen freezes and I have to ask the flight attendant to reset it.

The first service starts with a drink and some pretzels/nuts, followed later by lunch. There is a choice of chicken stir fry or beef and mashed potatoes. I go for the beef and it is delicious.

I start to watch a movie but fall asleep soon after for a good 3 hours. I wake up to finish the movie and start another one. During this time a second meal service is served – a choice of dumplings or quiche and I choose the latter.

Service is pretty friendly on board, but other than that it is a ‘meh’ flight.
