Flight Review: SQ: 421 – BOM – SIN

I am sitting in Business Class seat 12F, on this Singapore Airlines Boeing 787-10 aircraft from Mumbai to Singapore.

Upon boarding we are offered a drink and wet towel, as well as our meals that were pre-ordered are confirmed. I ordered the ‘Book the Cook’ mix Tandoori Platter.

I get a strawberry lassi before taking off, and shortly after, the meal service begins, with SQ’s signature satay sticks, followed by a duck breast appetizer, tandoori mix main, some cheese and dessert. I finish with coffee (decaf) and pralines. It’s all very good as expected.

During the meal I watch a new movie based on the life of the Beatles’ Manager, Brian Epstein, called ‘Midas Man’ – it’s really good. But I am tired, and as soon as it ends I convert the seat into a fully-flat position and sleep for a good 2 hours.

Service is exceptional. It’s a great flight.
