I am sitting in middle seat 4E, a business class seat on this Turkish Airlines Boeing 777-300 aircraft bound for New Delhi from Istanbul.

The seat configuration for business class is weird with a 2-3-2 layout. Nonetheless each seat converts to a fully-flat bed which I later use for a couple of hours of this 5.5 hour flight.

Prior to take-off drinks are served and meal orders taken. We also receive a wet towel and an amenity kit from Lavin.

I have the chicken with butter rice and it is delicious. I’m full before I start from all the food I had a couple of hours ago but I can’t help myself. The chocolate mouse is to die for.

I watch a bit of my K-dramas on my iPad whilst charging my iPhone with the USB charger socket and then extend my seat to fully-flat bed position which has also been made up by the flight attendants whilst I was in the bathroom.

I actually manage to sleep quite well for about 2.5 hours before being woken up by the captain’s announcement that we are arriving soon.

It’s 4.30am local time (2am my time). One more short-haul flight to go.

It’s going to be a tough day.
